Dzia

Dzia is a Belgium street artist who primarily uses animals created by geometric figures in his body of work. He is classically trained and states that he wanted to have a unique style by blending lines and abstract to create his pieces. To me, his works display a connection between that which is logical and set with the untamable aspect of nature. I find this is done rather effectively in his style. It is in good balance that represents a kind of symbiotic relationship that is seen here. In particular I feel the bear  displays a bridge between two worlds, possibly the rigid but necessary order that facilitates the logical universe, i.e. the scientific process with the imaginative and free aspect of minds, i.e. the creative process. The rhino goes a step further to suggest that all things which are wild and untamed are in fact composed of the same order and rules that govern all things in a seemingly yin-yang juxtaposition.
